- I am a Senior Fellow and Director of Research for Cardus (http://cardus.ca), a thinktank dedicated to the renewal of social architecture; a teaching elder in a Calgary Free Reformed church (www.calgary.frcna.org), a part-time student at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary (www.prts.org), a husband to Kathy and father to Chris, and above all, a sinner saved by grace. That should provide something to talk about with anyone who might come across this page. If nothing else, we have this in common -- we are all struggle with shortcomings -- somethings Christians understand to be caused by sin. There is nothing that Christians have that they have not received, therefore there is no reason for any sense of smugness in interacting with those who don't share their faith assumptions. This blog is meant to interact with those who agree, and those who disagree, with me on a variety of issues. Hopefully, some thoughts on this page will provoke or inspire you. Do let me know when it does -- I enjoy interacting, learning, and even having a wholesome debate when the opportunity arises.
